How Landing Zone contact records work — fields and custom fields, tags, linked properties, notes, consent status, and outreach history in one place.
Contacts is Landing Zone's CRM — the record every other feature reads from and writes to. Batches pull audiences from it, the inbox threads conversations onto it, and Intelligence tools enrich it.
How it works
The contact record
Each contact carries standard fields plus custom fields you define, tags you can add or remove individually or in bulk, and notes for anything free-form. Tags and lists drive segmentation when you build batch audiences.
Properties on the record
Real-estate context lives directly on the contact. Add a Property attaches a property to the record, and Additional Property and Additional Property Info hold further properties and their details. See add a property for the walkthrough.
Consent on the record
Each contact's SMS and call consent status — UNVERIFIED, VERIFIED, or REVOKED — is stored with recorded proof: the source, date, and details. Imported and skip-traced contacts default to UNVERIFIED until an opt-in is recorded. See consent records.
Outreach history
The record shows what has happened with this contact — messages sent and received, and calls with their dispositions — so anyone opening it sees the full history before acting.
Export and delete
You can export contacts to CSV and delete records singly or in bulk. See export data.
When to use it
Work from the CRM whenever you need the full picture of one person: before a call, while answering a reply, or when deciding whether a contact belongs in the next batch. Keep tags and custom fields current — they are what make segmentation useful later.
Limitations
- Consent defaults to UNVERIFIED for imported and skip-traced contacts. Campaign SMS requires VERIFIED consent, so record opt-in proof before expecting those contacts to be eligible.
- Landing Zone stores what you put in it. Field accuracy and freshness are yours to maintain — see data accuracy.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add my own fields?
Yes. Contacts support custom fields alongside the standard ones, so you can track whatever your workflow needs.
Can I tag many contacts at once?
Yes. Tags can be added and removed in bulk as well as one contact at a time.
