Follow-ups and automations Live

What Landing Zone automations do today — Daily Email Outreach and Daily SMS Outreach drafts that wait for your approval — and what is planned next.

Landing Zone has two automation types today: Daily Email Outreach and Daily SMS Outreach. Both follow the same principle — the automation drafts, a person approves. Nothing sends unattended.

How it works

Drafts, not sends

On its schedule, an automation generates a batch draft in PENDING REVIEW status. The draft waits there until someone reviews and approves it — the scheduler never sends on its own.

The same batch pipeline

Automation-generated drafts flow through the standard batch lifecycle: the pre-send preview, the SMS eligibility checks (consent, cooldown, suppression, line type, quiet hours), and the same send controls once approved.

Owner and admin control

Only Owners and Admins manage automations. Agents work the resulting conversations, but creating, changing, pausing, and resuming automations is restricted.

Operating controls

Each automation can be paused and resumed. Test mode with designated test contacts lets you exercise an automation safely — test contacts bypass the SMS cooldown so repeated test runs work. Logs and diagnostics show what each run generated and why.

When to use it

Use an automation when you want a steady daily outreach cadence without hand-building each batch: the scheduler prepares the day's draft, and your team's only recurring job is to review and approve it — or pause the outreach when plans change.

What's planned

A broader automation hub, AI-assisted calling, and third-party workflow integrations are planned but not available today — this page documents only what ships now. Two AI capabilities have their own pages: Inbound AI and Outbound AI, both coming soon.

Limitations

  • Daily Email Outreach and Daily SMS Outreach are the only automation types today.
  • Every automation-generated batch requires manual approval. There is no fully unattended sending, by design.
  • Automations are Owner/Admin only.
  • There are no third-party workflow triggers or integrations yet.

Frequently asked questions

Will an automation ever send without me?

No. Automations generate batch drafts in PENDING REVIEW status, and a draft only sends after a person approves it.

Who can set up or pause an automation?

Owners and Admins. Automation management is restricted to those roles.
