Email signatures Live
How Landing Zone's structured email signatures work — field-based content, layout options, per-account defaults, campaign and reply toggles, and safe rendering.
Signatures in Landing Zone are structured, not free-form: you fill in fields and pick a layout, and the platform renders a consistent, predictable signature. This page explains the model — for the setup walkthrough, see the email signatures guide.
How it works
Structured fields
A signature is built from fields: name, title, company, phone, website, email, and address. You fill in what applies and leave the rest empty.
Layouts
Three layouts control presentation — simple, with-line, and compact — plus an optional divider above the signature.
Per-account, with a default
Each connected email account can have its own signature, and you set a default for accounts without one. Manage both under Settings → Email accounts.
Campaigns versus replies
Two separate toggles control where the signature is appended: one for campaign email, one for inbox replies. You can sign campaigns but keep quick replies bare, or the reverse.
In templates
The {{signature}} token places the signature inside an email
template, so template authors decide where it sits in
the message.
Predictable rendering
Every field value is HTML-escaped when the signature renders. What you type appears as text — pasted markup cannot break the message layout or inject anything into it.
When to use it
Set up a signature for every account you send campaigns from — a consistent sign-off with real contact details makes outreach look like it comes from a person, and gives recipients a way to reach you outside the thread.
Limitations
- There is no image or logo upload, and no free-form HTML. Signatures are field-based by design.
- Because values are HTML-escaped, any HTML you type into a field shows up literally instead of rendering. If a signature looks wrong, see signature formatting issues.
Frequently asked questions
Can each email account have a different signature?
Yes. Signatures are set per connected account, and a default covers accounts without their own.
Can I sign campaign email but not my inbox replies?
Yes. Campaign email and inbox replies have separate signature toggles, so you can enable either independently.
