Email campaigns in Landing Zone send personalized email through email accounts you connect — reviewed and sent as batches, tracked message by message.

How it works

Your accounts do the sending

Campaign email goes out through email accounts you connect and verify under Settings → Email accounts. Each connected account also gets its own email inbox for replies, which feeds the unified inbox.

Templates personalize each message

Email templates support merge fields that pull in contact data and spin syntax that varies wording between copies, so a batch does not send hundreds of identical messages. The {{signature}} token drops in the sending account's signature.

Signatures

Signatures are structured and set per email account, with a separate toggle that controls whether campaign email includes one. See email signatures.

Reviewed batch sending

Email campaigns follow the batch lifecycle: draft, pre-send preview, approval, then the send loop — with pause, resume, and stop available throughout.

Tracking

Landing Zone tracks opens, bounces, replies, and opt-outs for each batch. Replies land in the unified inbox so you can answer them alongside SMS.

One-click unsubscribe

Campaign email includes one-click unsubscribe. Opt-outs are recorded automatically so recipients who unsubscribe stop hearing from you.

When to use it

Email suits larger audiences and longer messages. SMS generally carries stricter consent, carrier, and registration considerations than ordinary commercial email — but email outreach has rules of its own, so read email outreach considerations before your first campaign.

Limitations

  • You need a connected, verified email account before anything can send.
  • Delivery is never guaranteed. Bounces are tracked per batch — if they climb, see email delivery issues.
  • Recorded opt-outs are honored by the platform, but choosing a lawful audience remains your responsibility.
