How email outreach works in Landing Zone — connected accounts, batches and campaigns, templates, tracking, and one-click unsubscribe.
Email is Landing Zone's channel for sending outreach from your own connected email accounts. You write once with Templates, send at scale with Batches and Campaigns, and track opens, bounces, replies, and opt-outs as they come in. Replies land in your unified inbox alongside your other channels.
Setup requirements
- Connect an email account. Go to Settings → Email accounts, connect the account you want to send from, and complete verification before you send.
- Set up a signature (optional but recommended). Email signatures use structured fields — name, title, company, phone, website, email, address — with a choice of layouts. You can set a signature per email account, choose a default, and toggle it separately for campaign sends and inbox replies. See email signatures.
Once an account is connected and verified, you can build your first send. Start with create an email batch.
Capabilities
- Batches and campaigns. Draft, preview, then approve and start. You can pause, resume, stop, or discard a send while it runs.
- Templates with spin syntax. Merge fields personalize each message, and spin syntax generates message variants so recipients don't all get identical copy. Templates include preview and performance stats.
- Tracking. Opens, bounces, replies, and opt-outs are tracked per send and roll up in the Dashboard.
- One-click unsubscribe. Outreach email includes one-click unsubscribe, and opt-outs are recorded automatically.
Rules and risks
Commercial email has its own requirements: accurate sender identity, a functioning unsubscribe that is honored promptly, and a physical mailing address in your messages. These obligations apply to email on its own terms — SMS and calling follow separate rules covered on their channel pages. Landing Zone's tracking and unsubscribe tooling helps you operate these mechanics, but you remain responsible for your audience, content, and legal basis. Read email outreach compliance before your first campaign.
The practical risks on this channel are deliverability and spam complaints. Bounces and complaints damage your sender reputation and reduce the chance future messages reach the inbox, and contacts who complain are added to your suppression list. Watch bounce and reply figures in the Dashboard and slow down when they move the wrong way.

Email outreach is live in Landing Zone.
Limitations
- Sending requires a connected, verified email account — there is no shared sending pool.
- Signatures are structured fields only: no image or logo upload, and no free-form HTML.
- Dashboard reporting covers sends, delivery, replies, and opt-outs today; advanced widgets and longer history are planned.
- Automated email is limited to Daily Email Outreach, which generates pending-review batch drafts that require manual approval.
