Configure email
Connect and verify an email account, set a signature, and cover the deliverability basics.
Email batches and campaigns send from an email account you connect and verify. Set that up once and every template, signature, and batch can use it.
Before you start
- An active Landing Zone account (start a trial if you have not).
- Access to the email account you want to send from.
Steps
- Open Settings → Email accounts in the app.
- Connect your email account — this is the address your batches and campaign sends come from.
- Complete verification — connection and verification are required before the account can send.
- Add a signature — signatures are built from structured fields (name, title, company, phone, website, email, address) with a choice of layouts, and each email account gets its own. Separate toggles control whether it appears on campaign sends and inbox replies. See email signatures.
- Verify addresses before you send — email verification runs domain and MX checks (and mailbox-level checks where enabled) so fewer sends bounce.
- Start small and watch the results — send your first batch to a small list and watch opens, bounces, and replies on the Dashboard. If delivery looks off, see email delivery issues.
Limitations
- Signatures do not support image or logo uploads or free-form HTML — they are structured fields with a layout choice.
- Campaign emails include one-click unsubscribe, and opt-outs are tracked; suppressed contacts are excluded from future sends.
- Email verification costs 1 credit per bundle of 10 addresses.
