Review the unified inbox
Work SMS and email replies in one place: reply, assign, and set dispositions.
Every reply your outreach earns lands in one place: the unified inbox. It gathers a separate SMS inbox for each of your phone numbers and an email inbox for each connected email account, so nothing has to be checked in two apps.
Before you start
- At least one sent batch or campaign (create your first batch) — the inbox fills up as replies arrive.
Steps
- Open Inboxes in the app navigation.
- Pick an inbox — one per phone number for SMS, one per connected account for email.
- Read and reply — 1:1 replies from the inbox are not subject to the 30-day SMS cooldown, so you can keep a live conversation going.
- Assign conversations to a teammate so ownership is clear.
- Set a status and disposition on each conversation to record the outcome on the contact's history.
Replies change what you can send
An inbound reply lifts the 30-day SMS cooldown for that contact — once they have written back after your last outbound text, they are eligible for batch SMS again. Opt-out replies work in the other direction: STOP and similar messages are detected automatically, the contact is suppressed, consent is set to REVOKED, and a confirmation is sent. See opt-outs and STOP keywords.
Limitations
- Assignment needs teammates in the workspace, and member invites are not yet self-serve — see create a workspace.
- Suppressed contacts stay excluded from batches even though their past conversations remain visible in the inbox.
