Outbound calling Live
Landing Zone's outbound calling posture — one-at-a-time, human-initiated click-to-call with no predictive, auto, or blast dialing.
Outbound calling in Landing Zone means one thing: click-to-call. Every outbound call is a single, human-initiated call — you open a contact in Contacts, start the call yourself, and talk. There is no predictive dialing, no auto-dialing, and no blast dialing anywhere in the product. That is the channel's posture, not a missing feature.
Setup requirements
- A Landing Zone phone number to call from — provision one in Settings → Phone numbers.
- Your own phone to answer the bridge when a call starts. See configure calling for first-time setup.
Capabilities
- Human-initiated calls only. You start each call from a contact record; Landing Zone bridges your phone to the contact.
- Compliance gates before every dial. Quiet hours are enforced, and each call is screened against your workspace suppression list and imported DNC data — with known-litigator hits suppressed — before it's placed.
- Dispositions and follow-through. Every call is logged, you record a disposition for the outcome, and you can capture next steps in the contact's notes so the follow-up lives on the record alongside the rest of their outreach history.
Rules and risks
The one-at-a-time design removes volume-driven dialing risk, but it doesn't decide whether an individual call is appropriate. Quiet hours — 9 PM to 8 AM in the contact's local time by default — block calls in the overnight window, and suppression screening keeps you off numbers you've imported or suppressed. Be clear about the screening's scope: it runs against your workspace suppression list and imported DNC data, not a live query of the federal DNC registry.
Because you place each call deliberately, each call reflects your judgment about the audience and consent basis. Review calling considerations and quiet hours before building calling into your routine.
Current status
Outbound calling is live in Landing Zone via click-to-call.
Limitations
- No predictive, auto, or blast dialing exists — outbound volume is limited to what a human can dial one call at a time.
- Calls blocked by quiet hours or suppression screening are not placed.
- DNC screening does not query the live federal registry; it covers your suppression list and imported DNC data.
