Add a property to a contact Live
Attach property records to contacts with Add a Property, Additional Property, and Additional Property Info.
Add a Property attaches a property record to a contact, so the property and your notes stay with that contact for outreach and follow-up. When one property isn't the whole story, Additional Property and Additional Property Info carry the rest.
Before you start
- A contact in your workspace to attach the property to.
- A property to attach — found through Property Search or Advanced Instant Lookup.
Steps
- Find the property. Use Property Search for area-wide prospecting, or Advanced Instant Lookup to resolve a specific address or APN to its property and owner.
- Open the contact in Contacts. Go to Contacts and open the record the property belongs with.
- Use Add a Property. Attach the property record to the contact so it travels with the record.
- Record more properties with Additional Property. When a contact is connected to more than one property, Additional Property records each one on the same contact.
- Keep extra detail with Additional Property Info. Store detail that goes beyond the base property record so it stays on the contact.
- Review the contact record. The property, your notes, and the contact's outreach history now live in one place — see Update CRM records.
Limitations
- A property record doesn't include the owner's phone number or email — research those with Skip Trace.
- Attaching a property doesn't record consent or change send eligibility; it organizes your data.
