Skip trace a saved audience Live

Run Skip Trace on a dataset, upload, sheet, folder, contact selection, list, or prior batch to find phones and emails.

Open this screen in Landing Zone →

Skip Trace researches contact details — phone numbers and emails — for the people in an audience you already have. It pairs naturally with property-owner lookup: find the owner, then skip trace to find a way to get in touch.

Before you start

  • An audience in one of the seven supported sources (listed in step 2).
  • Credits: 1 credit per successful match. Cached results and no-matches are free. See How credits work.

Steps

  1. Open Skip Trace. Go to Intelligence → Skip Trace in the Landing Zone app.
  2. Choose your source. Skip Trace accepts seven sources: a purchased dataset, a CSV or XLSX upload, a Google Sheet, a folder, selected contacts, an imported list, or a prior batch.
  3. Review the cost and confirm. Skip Trace costs 1 credit per successful match — cached results and no-matches are free — and the cost is shown in the app before you confirm.
  4. Run the trace and review the results. See which records matched and the phone numbers and emails found for each.
  5. Export a CSV if you want to work with the results outside Landing Zone.
  6. Add results to contacts or a campaign. Bring matched records into Contacts, or send them straight into a campaign.
  7. Verify before you reach out. Check line types with phone verification and addresses with email verification.

Limitations

  • Not every record resolves — some return no match (at no charge).
  • Skip Trace returns research data, not permission. Skip-traced contacts default to UNVERIFIED consent until an opt-in is recorded, and batch and campaign SMS require VERIFIED consent. See Consent records.
  • Results reflect the data available at trace time — verify phones and emails before a send.
