How the 7-day Landing Zone trial works: what's included, when billing starts, and how to cancel.
New Landing Zone accounts start with a 7-day free trial with full platform access, so you can evaluate the real product — not a limited demo.
What the trial includes
- 7 days of full platform access.
- 20 trial credits to test Intelligence actions (lookups, skip tracing, verification). Email and SMS sending do not consume credits.
- Your choice of plan: you select Starter or Pro at signup, and the trial runs on that plan.
What the trial requires
- A payment method is required to start the trial. You are not charged during the trial window.
- Some capabilities need registration or setup beyond the trial itself,
regardless of plan:
- SMS at scale requires A2P 10DLC registration approval — see Configure SMS. Registration review times are set by carriers, not Landing Zone.
- Email sending requires connecting and verifying an email account — see Configure email.
- Calling requires a provisioned phone number — see Configure calling.
When billing starts
When the 7-day trial ends, paid billing begins automatically on the plan you selected, using the payment method on file — unless you cancel first.
How to cancel
Cancel any time during the trial from Settings → Billing, which opens the secure billing portal. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged.
What happens to your data and credits
- Your workspace data (contacts, lists, history) stays on the account when the trial converts to a paid subscription.
- If you cancel, your data is retained on the account per current product behavior, but credit-consuming actions and sending require an active subscription.
- Unused trial credits are not converted into paid credits or refunds.
Limitations
- Trial mechanics are managed by the subscription system; the billing screen in the app is authoritative for your trial end date and status.
