Canceling or downgrading
What happens to access, data, and credits when you cancel a subscription or move to a smaller plan.
You manage your subscription from Settings → Billing, which opens the secure billing portal.
Canceling
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
- When the subscription ends, the account moves to a canceled state and paid features stop.
- Included monthly credits stop being issued once the subscription ends.
- Credit-consuming actions and sending require an active subscription, so remaining credits are not usable while the account is canceled. Purchased pack credits never expire, and included credits keep their original 12-month expiration — but you need an active subscription to spend them, so unexpired credits become usable again if you resubscribe.
- Workspace data (contacts, lists, history, audit records) is retained on the account per current product behavior; it is not deleted at cancellation.
Downgrading (Pro → Starter)
- Your included monthly credit issuance changes to the Starter amount (250 per month) from the next billing period.
- Credit packs bought at Pro pricing keep their credits — pricing differences are not clawed back.
- Future pack purchases are at Starter pricing.
- Pro-only benefits (priority support, the larger phone-number allowance) end with the change.
Payment problems
If a renewal payment fails, the account enters a past-due state until the payment method is updated. Update your card in the billing portal — see Billing and credit issues.
Limitations
- The billing portal is authoritative for proration, exact dates, and invoice history.
